Job Description

Metric Bio has partnered with a pioneering medical devices company on a mission to transform healthcare. As Head of Systems Engineering, you’ll drive the design and validation of cutting-edge medical transportation systems, leading a passionate, multidisciplinary team to develop revolutionary products that save lives. What You’ll Do: Spearhead system and sub-system development for groundbreaking medical devices. Collaborate with leaders to shape technical roadmaps and deliver user-focused, validated designs. Coach and inspire a high-performing team across mechanical, electrical, software, and AI disciplines. Champion agile, innovative engineering practices while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards. Influence technical strategy and represent the company with regulatory bodies like the FDA. What You Bring: Proven leadership in systems engineering for electro-mechanical products, ideally in medical devices. Hands-on expertise across engineering domains, including AI, signal processing, and design for reliability. Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. A passion for innovation and a track record of delivering impactful products.
