The Role
As Head of Technical, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical and quality operations within the business. This role is crucial to ensuring that products are produced to the highest quality standards, comply with food safety regulations, and meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep technical background in food manufacturing, a solid understanding of food safety legislation, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
The Candidate
The successful Head of Technical will:
Lead and manage the Technical team, ensuring they are motivated, developed, and performing at their best.
Oversee food safety, quality, and compliance across all production processes.
Ensure that all products meet both internal and external quality standards, including customer specifications.
Have experience as a Head of Technical or in a senior Technical role.
Have some experience dealing with the Big 4 retailers.
