The company has been around for a number of years and has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Technical to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes. Key Responsibilities Manage the technical and design elements of all projects. Oversee and manage design teams and consultants. Involve in all aspects of design from pre-construction stage working on bids and planning applications, right through to construction and handover. Provide necessary input and support to the planning team. Maintain and update records of design and take responsibility for checking and issuing design information. Research, investigate and provide feedback to the business to improve the processes of delivering projects. Personal Specification & Requirements Extensive residential development experience and design management process. Effective and proven negotiator with professional organisations. Strong understanding of technical detailing and agreement requirements. Leadership qualities that encourage staff to work together. Degree qualified in a relevant subject. Highly motivated with a strong desire to grow within the business. Smart, presentable, and happy to deal directly with customers. Punctual, reliable, and possess good practical skills.
