Head of Technical
for their newly developed facility based close to Newry.
As the successful Head of Technical you will provide leadership in the technical and R&D functions.
What your typical day will look like Uphold technical standards on-site, focusing on health and safety, food safety compliance, quality assurance, and necessary accreditations. Oversee R&D activities on-site, making experience with recipe trials essential. Be part of the leadership team, reporting to the General Manager and collaborating closely with the leadership team including the CEO and Head of Food. What you will need to succeed: A minimum of 5 years quality or technical management experience in a food manufacturing environment. Knowledge and experience in implementing quality systems including the RC standard and retailer specific standards. Strong understanding of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and food fraud prevention. Experience in managing relationships with UK retailers.
