Head of Training and Standards (Installation)
to build and develop a world-class education and training centre. You will lead the creation and delivery of these programmes for our team of high-performing engineers and develop mechanisms for compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Work experience and technical knowledge in areas of expertise related to installing distributed energy resources, e.g., smart meters, EV chargers, solar & batteries, and heat pumps. Proven experience of delivering training effectively and in line with industry standards. Proven experience of delivering UK accredited training courses. Experience in developing and implementing company-wide control standards to ensure consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance. Develop mechanisms to ensure compliant work is completed by field engineers after training. Stay up to date with industry qualifications, standards, and technology. Responsible for completing external audits and compliance for installations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Passion for renewable energy, developing others, and leading a compliance culture. In this role, you are expected to work in-person in London, and some programmes may be delivered remotely to team members spread across the UK. You will also be expected to upskill as the internal training centre broadens in scope. Benefits:
