We're looking for a qualified and experienced Treasurer to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Why we need you

As Head of Treasury, you will devise and implement CRUK's Treasury procedures and policies and work with the Finance Director to define a Treasury strategy.

A key element of the role will be to devise appropriate procedures for managing borrowings and investments.

What skills are we looking for?

Create suitable policies and procedures for all Treasury functions Work with the Finance Director to define a Treasury strategy Ensure that a comprehensive Treasury manual is in place Review the robustness of existing controls to mitigate risk and report deficiencies to the Finance Director Develop the liquidity, investment and cash flow reporting to stakeholders Devise and embed procedures to manage the new £150m loan facility Line manage and lead the Treasury Analyst, overseeing all duties of that role: Daily cash management routines Reporting on liquidity Review forex exposure and managing exposure Review bank charges Bank signatory and mandate maintenance

Minimum Criteria: Qualified Treasurer with experience in a similar role Detailed working knowledge of a well-run Treasury function Extensive experience of managing a Treasury function Demonstrable ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team Excellent time management and organisational ability High level of attention to detail Significant experience of working as part of a team with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
