Head of Warehouse Operations Purpose: The Head of Warehouse is a key member of the Operations senior management team, responsible across multiple sites for overall operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will manage warehouse operations for refrigeration and catering equipment currently in Marchington, Beckford and Zaragoza. A hands on individual with a proven track record in leading and developing warehouse management teams, instilling a right first time mentality and championing a continuous improvement culture which positively and significantly impacts the performance of both the people and the organisation. The Head of Warehouse has full operational budget and KPI responsibility and will develop effective resource planning to ensure cost, productivity and service targets are met. Acting as an exceptional brand ambassador, the Head of Warehouse will help shape, evaluate and plan the short, medium and long term objectives of the business. Working internally with the Sales, Asset Management, Project Management and Transport teams to ensure that all operational needs are met, trends are identified and managed through to positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Management:

Full responsibility for multiple in-house sites overseeing the effective planning, execution, and delivery of warehouse operations Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate and develop a team of Warehouse Managers and Supervisors to provide best in class operational execution Resource Management:

Forecast short, medium and longer term labour, engineering and parts planning for inbound and outbound volumes against budgeted spend. Allocate resources effectively to optimize project outcomes and maintain operational efficiency Budget Management:

Definition, ownership and accountability for weekly and monthly costs v budget Continuous Improvement:

Develop and implement operational procedures and best practice. Proactively challenge and support the operations to consistently achieve excellence Strategy Development:

Propose and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures across the warehouse operations Health & Safety:

Keep our people and customers safe and adhere to all warehousing, handling, and despatch legislation requirements Key Characteristics: Be a role model and an advocate for your own actions and behaviours and challenge and hold others to account in relation to embedding and demonstrating Lowes principles and values Commitment to maintain highest professional standards appropriate to the responsibilities of holding a senior role within Lowe Europe.
