Head of Year Salary - MPS/UPS £31,650 - £49,084 TLR - £8,279 Permanent Full Time Contract to start 28 April 2025 We are searching for the best education professionals to join our trust. Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Head of Year to develop a culture of excellence for a specified year group in line with the Academy’s mission, vision and values. This includes promoting, monitoring and improving student academic achievement, welfare, behaviour, and attendance/punctuality in the year group. The department is part of a well led, dynamic team, whose colleagues all enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our Senior Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will be a maths specialist and an exceptional leader and educator with vision, tenacity, optimism, strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to inspire students to achieve their very best in a progressive, dynamic and improving Academy; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. As a key leader, you will provide leadership and direction to a team of form tutors and line manage an assigned Pastoral Leader. We are keen to secure a high calibre leader who can make a telling contribution to our forward-looking team. The pastoral faculty is one rooted in working to provide the very best teaching and learning for all our students, with a strong commitment to removing barriers to learning for all.
