Summary Graduate Junior Foodservice Designer

CHR Foodservice Equipment is a multi-award-winning kitchen design house and catering equipment provider delivering best-in-class solutions to a wide variety of chefs & stakeholders across the hospitality sector, based out of our offices in Bamber Bridge, Preston, which we established 30 years ago.

From a single piece of equipment to a full turn-key solution, we treat every project with the same care and efficiency, creating industry-leading results for our customers, partners, and team. Our work includes cutting-edge design and build projects for over 20 Michelin Starred restaurants, alongside clients in stadia, the NHS, staff catering, blue chip, and education sectors. We are well-versed in working with main contractors, architects, and Mechanical and Electrical contractors.

We continue to lead innovation and introduced the first fully energy-efficient all-electric kitchen back in 2010. Now we deliver fully energy-optimized kitchens and have created the first connected kitchen to help our customers understand both cost to run and the carbon footprint, with our continual aim to help our customers deliver Net Zero.

The Role We are looking to recruit a Graduate Junior Foodservice Designer to join our expanding design team. You will be responsible for supporting our Design and Project Directors with the production of project deliverables and technical design information that ensures the smooth delivery and running of projects. Working closely as a team, you will also be responsible for technical coordination with architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants to ensure projects are properly detailed and specified, ensuring fully costed models are available to our stakeholders.

This role will also involve site visits during the construction phase and installation to fully understand the process and to continually improve your knowledge and personal development, alongside visiting key manufacturing facilities and day-to-day contact with the best suppliers in the food service industry.

Working on some of the most prestigious hospitality projects across many sectors, you will have the opportunity to learn and build on your skills within a collaborative supporting team that consistently delivers, with a real focus on ensuring sustainability continues to be at the heart of everything we do.

The wide range of salary advertised reflects that we would accept applications from both new to industry candidates as well as very experienced industry candidates, as we have more than one role to fill.

The Applicant Please forward your CV to us. NO AGENCIES.
