About the role As Head Performance Coach you will support our sales operation to help businesses throughout the UK to take control of their utilities, saving money, saving time, and cutting carbon. Reporting to our Operations Manager for Outbound Sales, this will be a varied and challenging role, and we’re looking for a candidate who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and drive positive action across the business. You will be a key part of the management team, responsible for coordinating and implementing comprehensive training and coaching for our colleagues, with a focus on onboarding, performance improvement, and selling techniques. Daily you will manage and monitor the coaching support to the overall business, with a specific focus around conversion across the sales operation. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Accountability for the operating performance of our coaching team ensuring the department functions to the required KPI’s and delivers real value. Proactively identifying the training needs of the business, producing and implementing creative training and development strategies making learning fun and impactful whilst driving the business forward. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of coaching and training programs, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes. Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and tailoring initiatives accordingly. The role will be based from our Jarrow office, covering our standard working hours of Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm with no evenings, no weekends, and an early finish every Friday. Your experience This position would suit a candidate with proven experience with the below skills and qualities: Minimum 2 years senior coaching experience within B2B energy sector and proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. Proven management background with experience in supporting HR processes. Great understanding of coaching methods and application. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate, engage and influence others maximising capabilities and potential. Ability to prioritise own workload effectively, adapting to changing demands. We believe in building an inclusive and welcoming workplace.
