Are you an ambitious RVN ready to step up into a leading role at a thriving 24-hour hospital in South London? Our client, a well-equipped and dedicated practice, is seeking a Head RVN to lead a talented and supportive team, including qualified and student nurses as well as a committed receptionist.

Renowned for being feline-friendly, they have proudly achieved the prestigious Gold Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic Award from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM). The practice features an impressive range of facilities designed to offer the best in patient care, including a dental suite equipped with dental x-ray, a full in-house lab with Idexx analysers, endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment, rhinoscopy, digital x-ray, and ultrasound.

Backed by a skilled leadership team, including a small animal surgery certificate holder with advanced expertise in orthopaedics, radiography, and rehabilitation, you'll have an excellent foundation to support you as you take the clinical reins.

As Head RVN, you will provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team, promoting excellence in patient and client care. You'll support surgeries and procedures, overseeing both pre- and post-operative care. Additionally, you will lead nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Part of your role will also include mentoring, inspiring, and developing the team through effective coaching and sharing of best practices. Finally, you will oversee smooth admissions, discharges, and patient transfers, consistently delivering professional service and care.
