Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced Headteacher for a senior leadership job based in an alternative provision in Hereford, West Midlands (HR8 1HT). If you are a SEND specialist who is available immediately or from Easter 2025, we would be keen to speak with you. If you are an experienced Headteacher or an experienced Deputy Headteacher seeking a headship who has worked with SEND across either primary or secondary phases, this role may be for you. We are currently supporting an established alternative provision based in Hereford. The role can be offered temporarily with immediate effect or as a permanent post from Easter 2025. This site is a small, established provision with the capacity for up to 8 children. Typically, the site caters for pupils aged 7-17 with SEND requirements such as SEMH and ASD. A tour of the site and an informal meeting with either the Regional Director or the Executive Headteacher can be arranged. This site is part of a national trust focused on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. A relevant UK based teaching and/or leadership qualification. Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND within an education setting. All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS. Exceptional references. Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis. Proposed start date:
