ASAP Role Overview: We are recruiting for one of our partner schools, due to open its doors in June 2025 in Newcastle, with a capacity for 60 pupils, specialising in complex needs including SEMH. As Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and growth of this new school. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in educational leadership, particularly in the field of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Complex Needs. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students facing educational challenges. Key Responsibilities: Educational Leadership: Lead the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. SEMH and Complex Needs Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEMH and Complex Needs, managing associated behaviours effectively and tailoring support to meet individual needs. Hands-On Approach: Be actively involved in the school community, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and a positive school culture. Strategic Planning and Growth: Oversee the school s growth, ensuring high educational standards and the successful delivery of a tailored curriculum. Qualifications and Experience: Headteacher Experience: Proven experience as a Headteacher, with a successful track record in educational leadership. SEMH and Complex Needs Focus: Strong background in working with students with SEMH and Complex Needs. Independent School Understanding: Familiarity with the dynamics of independent schools and a hands-on approach to school management.
