Our team brings together clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, health economists, bioinformaticians and health data scientists alongside our established actuarial, analytics and technology teams to deliver new solutions to the fundamental challenges in health. Our team’s mission is to help move health systems from importers of illness to exporters of health and to support our clients to deliver value to patients. We have already developed a track record for leading approaches to real world evidence generation, health economic modelling, evidence strategy, medical affairs and genetics. We have been growing the team quickly in response to the demand we are seeing for the innovative service offerings we have developed, and now have an exciting opportunity for an analyst to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to use cutting edge health data science methods and strategic consulting to solve some of the most challenging issues in healthcare. Who are the team and what do they do? LCP’s Health Analytics team works across the healthcare and life sciences markets, combining health expertise with innovative approaches from our work in other sectors to tackle leading health issues. Examples of the types of projects that you will be working on include: Real world evidence studies using electronic healthcare records, registries, biobanks and databases Estimating the cost effectiveness of a range of interventions more holistically from both patients and health systems perspectives Developing market access strategies for product launch and commercial success Designing and simulating reimbursement models including outcome-based agreements What will you be doing? As an Analyst in LCP’s Health Analytics team you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, covering both client and non-client work. Your key responsibilities will be to: Contribute to designing solutions to the complex problems our clients in the healthcare and life sciences industry face Plan and carry out analyses where necessary using diverse real world health data sources (including omics data). This will include contribution to all stages of projects including:

Protocol/SAP development Execution of analyses Quality control Report writing

What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for? A 2:1 degree or better in a numerate or scientific subject, a health-related Masters degree or PhD (Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science, Health Economics, Medicine) is desirable Experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry is desirable Excellent grounding in an analytical field with a desire to apply quantitative skills to solving real-world problems in health Programming experience in R, Python and/or SQL, and familiarity with health databases is desirable Initiative in every aspect of your work and creativity in developing original solutions to problems Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Excellent organisational skills What’s in it for you?
