Health And Safety Advisor focuses on supporting the implementation of designer group’s health and safety policies, procedures and standards across uk projects.

What the role involves

• Supporting the implementation of Designer Group’s health and safety policies, procedures and standards across UK projects.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety walks.
• Identify risks, unsafe behaviours or non-compliance and work with site teams to close out actions.
• Supporting project teams with risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and site inductions where required.
• Monitoring PPE compliance, housekeeping, access/egress, plant, lifting operations and general site safety standards.

Candidate fit

• A relevant qualification in occupational health and safety, construction safety or a related discipline.
• CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification.
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to the multi-site nature of the role.
