This role is a mixture of WFH and visiting customer sites so your location can be flexible. Ideally, we're looking for someone who can cover the South of England. About us: Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option. And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities. Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them. Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms. We take the complexity out of connectivity. The opportunity: Health and Safety (Environment and Quality) are priorities for Wifinity. You will promote and support a positive Health and Safety mindset/culture as you support the development of, and deliver SHEQ programmes and frameworks across our UK customer sites, in particular as a Health and Safety Auditor. As a subject matter expert in SHEQ you will provide robust and trusted advice to your business stakeholders and client areas and will be able to audit and provide appropriate reporting and recommendations for continual improvements. We hold four ISOs (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001) and you will be able to support the continual development and improvement of our Management System as well as provide valuable input into our ESG journey. Key areas of focus: You will be on the road, liaising with and auditing our team members and subcontractors across various sectors. You will always promote and role model positive SHEQ behaviours to both internal and external stakeholders. Working with the Operational Team you will plan and undertake audits and inspections to ensure that works being undertaken comply with legal requirements whilst also considering the specific needs of the Client. Work to identify trends from sites visited and provide sound advice as to any improvements that can be made to further enhance our delivery model. Develop and deliver Toolbox Talks consistent with the findings of the audits and inspections to ensure consistent understanding of any areas of focus or specific changes required in order to continually improve our delivery. Maintain records of audits and inspections inclusive of corrective actions and ensure timely follow up and closure. As required, attend and assist in investigations where issues arise relevant to the health, safety and environmental elements. Be an SHEQ subject matter expert with strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice. Develop and review RAMS to support current and future Company operations. Support the ongoing development and improvement of the Company Management System. Support in the delivery and maintenance of current and future accreditations. About you: This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong all round SHEQ experience, who can work on their own initiative to develop the role and drive forward change. Your skills and abilities: A ‘can do’ frame of mind and a self-starter, planning your own work and recording/reporting on your findings and advising on opportunities. Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written). The ability to successfully apply your robust SHEQ knowledge with a commercial lens. Demonstrable stakeholder management skills across all levels. The ability to influence and promote positive safety behaviours. Strong prioritisation skills. A passion for national travel and face-to-face interactions. Your experience & qualifications: Experience of working in the field as a Health and Safety/SHEQ Advisor within construction disciplines inclusive of work at height, asbestos, and manual handling. Experience in the development of RAMS to support the above elements of construction activities. Proven knowledge and experience in delivering across the health, safety, and environmental spectrum. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent. Drivers License. Ability to gain Security Clearance. It would be nice to also have, but not essential: Experience in the telecommunications sector or similar. Experience developing/delivering cultural change programmes. Security Clearance. We offer

a competitive salary and benefits package which includes an ‘Annual Leave Buy & Sell Scheme’, in addition to a remote-first working environment, allowing our employees more flexibility when it comes to the importance of a healthy work/life balance. Please be aware that the successful applicant to this role will receive an offer which is subject to the satisfactory completion of a basic level DBS check. At Wifinity

we are committed to providing a positive environment in which individuals do not encounter bullying or harassment on the basis of protected characteristics which are identified by law (including sexual harassment). We are committed to treating candidates and employees with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
