Activus Recruitment is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join a team based in Aberdeenshire and manage multiple clients across the UK. As a Health and Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for providing practical, effective advice and support to ensure that organisations comply with all health and safety regulations and standards to create a safe and healthy work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular audits and site inspections of work environments to identify potential hazards and risks, prepare findings reports, and provide guidance on corrective actions. Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, documentation and programs to promote organisational safety culture. Provide advice and guidance to clients based on documentation and health and safety matters. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Monitor and evaluate workplace practices for clients to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate client teams on health and safety best practices. Ensure clients are compliant and adhere to CDM Regulations 2015. Support clients with ISO Integrated Management Systems, including audits. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in health and safety to continuously improve programs and initiatives. Personal Requirements:

NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Qualification. Proven experience working as a health and safety advisor/auditor in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, including CDM Regulations 2015. Experience in carrying out internal and external auditing is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience training staff advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Driver's Licence and willingness to travel essential.
