In this role, you will assist our QHSE Manager in maintaining and improving our OH&S Management System accredited to ISO 45001:2018, helping ensure a safe, compliant, and productive workplace. You will be integral in driving improvements in health and safety performance and supporting the company in adhering to industry standards, legislation, and best practices. What You Will Be Doing: Maintaining OH&S Management System:

Assist in maintaining the ISO 45001:2018 accredited OH&S Management System, ensuring continuous compliance with relevant standards and legislation. Internal Audits & Risk Management:

Conduct internal audits of the Health and Safety Management System, assist with risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Training & Support:

Help organize and deliver essential OH&S training courses (manual handling, first aid, fire marshal, etc.), and ensure all staff receive relevant, timely training. Health & Safety Inspections:

Collaborate with Department Managers to conduct regular health and safety inspections and maintain records. Incident Investigation & Reporting:

Support investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Health Surveillance:

Coordinate health surveillance for technical staff across all sites as required. Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the development and implementation of new techniques and strategies to improve health and safety practices across the company. Communication:

Provide support to internal teams through phone effectively. Key Activities: Maintain internal Health and Safety logs, schedules, and action plans, ensuring tasks are completed on time. Help prepare regular reports on Health and Safety matters, including updates on KPIs and objectives. Assist in the induction of new employees into the company's health and safety policies and maintain training records. Support during Health & Safety committee meetings, promoting continual improvement. Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant working environment in all departments. What We Are Looking For: Experience:

Previous experience in a Health & Safety role with knowledge and experience of ISO 45001 (2018), ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Qualifications:

IOSH Managing Safely (minimum), a basic understanding of OH&S standards (ISO 45001:2018), risk assessments, and health and safety legislation is essential. NEBOSH or similar qualifications are a plus. Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. A proactive, problem-solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Personal Attributes: Team player with the ability to work independently when required. Strong commitment to safety and well-being of others. Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
