We are pleased to have exclusively partnered with an established college group to recruit a new Health and Safety Manager to the growing SHE team.

Reporting to the Vice Principal, you will be leading and managing health and safety across the group to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for: Ensuring compliance with current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation across the group. Line managing a team of three in Health and Safety and safety testing. Work alongside management to identify health and safety requirements and ensure standards are met. Assist and provide guidance on risk assessment and approving risk assessment documentation. Investigate and report on all accidents and incidents within the college where required. Carrying out Health, Safety, and Environmental audits and supporting management in making improvements where needed. To be considered for this role you should have: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification as a minimum. The ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Experience carrying out Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPs) is highly desirable. Management experience is preferred, or the ability to step into a management role. Experience working in a variety of environments / risk profiles. In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £55,000 and an excellent benefits package.
