The Vista Members’ fleet comprises light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range aircraft. The Maintenance team provides a robust regional support network for Vista’s growing fleet, working across 7 maintenance sites with one of the leading base maintenance facilities in the world, taking care since 2004. Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range aircraft. Your Responsibilities
Ensure that VAM meets its statutory obligations in relation to Health and Safety Legislation. Provide advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters to management and staff. Oversee risk assessment activities including COSHH and development of policies and procedures to support these areas. Develop and provide training and induction to staff and third parties working on site. Perform investigations and prepare reports relating to Health and Safety occurrences and near misses in the business. Provide support on Health and Safety matters to the wider Vista Group as required including travel to other sites in Europe. Any other reasonable request from management in line with the Health and Safety Manager role. Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent. Strong working knowledge of UK H&S Regulation. Experience of using online integrated management tools. Experience in a highly regulated environment i.e., aviation, nuclear, rail, construction. Proficient with Microsoft Office software. Experience with Centrik software. Experience of working in Part 145. Membership of IOSH or equivalent industry body.
