They are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Health and Safety qualification, considerable experience in a Health and Safety role, and have managed Health and Safety on industrial worksites including facilities and depots. They are offering in return a competitive salary of c£50,000-c£60,000 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package including a bonus scheme, hybrid working, on-site parking, a health and wellbeing program, and more! This role also offers the opportunity for the right candidate to work a part-time contract (3 days a week), rather than full time if preferable. Roles and Responsibilities Provide guidance to the leadership team on aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment Promote a culture of best practice across all operational work sites within the company Ensure the company has appropriate targets to allow for continuous improvement Promote Health and Safety practices through the coordination of activities and projects Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented Investigate, report, and recommend improvements for Health and Safety incidents Manage a training program for First Aiders and other Health and Safety workers on site Implement a regular audit program to evaluate performance Deliver regular management reports on Environmental, Health, and Safety performance of the company Skills and Experience Qualification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH, CMIOSH, and/or IOSH) Considerable experience in a Health and Safety role, with Health and Safety experience in rail being desirable Experience managing Health and Safety at worksites including manufacturing facilities and depots Sound understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment matters, legislation, and standards Experience delivering to demanding deadlines Industrial auditing experience including PPE equipment, machinery, environment, and tools Vacancy Summary Hours:
