Role Overview: As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for fostering a proactive health and safety culture across all company operations. You will lead the development and implementation of robust systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards. Working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors, you will ensure health and safety is embedded in all aspects of the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company's health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and legislation. Conduct regular site inspections and audits, providing actionable feedback to improve safety standards. Deliver training and toolbox talks to site teams, subcontractors, and office staff, promoting a culture of safety across the business. Work collaboratively with project teams during pre-construction and delivery phases to identify and mitigate risks. Lead incident and accident investigations, implementing lessons learned to prevent recurrence. Keep up-to-date with changes in health and safety regulations and ensure these are communicated and integrated into company policies. Build strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to represent the company's commitment to safety excellence. Produce detailed reports and provide recommendations to the senior leadership team.
What We're Looking For: NEBOSH Construction/General IOSH Proven experience in a health and safety role within the construction sector. Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, risk management, and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills. Passionate about promoting a positive health and safety culture.
