Your new role The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by implementing and maintaining health and safety standards in compliance with legal requirements and company policies. The role involves: Risk Assessments:
Conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement measures to mitigate risks. Safety Audits and Inspections:
Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Incident Investigations:
Carry out investigations to determine causes and recommend preventive measures. Training and Education:
Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees. Policy Development:
Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures. Emergency Response Plans:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
Full-time hours, days, Mon - Fri. Flexible with start and finish times.
What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH Certification and proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You will have a strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices and be a strong communicator. You will need to have a driving license to travel between the 3 sites.
