You will coordinate and monitor safety-related processes including risk assessment, training, accident investigation, and workplace safety audits ensuring inspections are satisfactorily completed. Your expertise will be crucial in advising management on health & safety legislation, safe methods of working, prevention of hazards to health, and the suitability of plant, protective equipment, and control measures. Understand and promote the use of company H&S Policies and Procedures. Maintain the Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) plan and support delivery of all associated actions. Arrange H&S courses, inductions, and meetings, producing materials and agendas as required. Facilitate the reporting and investigation of all H&S incidents, ensuring that root cause is identified. Coach and mentor managers to improve their investigation skills. What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Health and Safety Manager position brings a wealth of experience from a similar role within a logistics environment. You have proven your ability to assist with the effective implementation of a H&S management system. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build relationships quickly at all levels. You are organised, detail-oriented with good IT and data analysis skills. Your hands-on approach will be key in driving forward our client's health & safety initiatives. Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a logistics environment. Experienced in assisting with an effective implementation of a H&S management system. Effective interpersonal, management, and communication skills. Good IT and data analysis skills.
