Job Description Develop and implement health and safety policies in line with legislation. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide training and guidance to staff members on health and safety procedures. Lead investigations into any incidents and ensure lessons are learnt and improvements made. Monitor and report on health and safety performance to senior management. Develop risk assessment protocols and oversee their implementation. Maintain a positive health and safety culture within the Wolverhampton-based Construction department. Ensure all health and safety documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The Successful Applicant A successful Health and Safety Manager should have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety or a related field. A strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices. Excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of staff. The ability to work independently and make important decisions. Experience in implementing safety measures and creating a culture of safety. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
