We're pleased to be partnered with a leading FMCG organisation, who are seeking a new Health and Safety Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive and proactive approach to Health and Safety across the manufacturing site in Liverpool. This role will be reporting to the Head of Health and Safety. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for health and safety. Auditing health and safety performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses. Identifying health and safety training needs and developing/delivering training. Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators. The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. NEBOSH General Certificate/equivalent is essential, ideally NEBOSH Diploma and relevant membership of IOSH (CertIOSH). Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders. A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation.
