Key Responsibilities : The Health and Safety Trainer/Consultant role is a combination of training and consultancy, with more of your typical week/time spent delivering training. Training: Deliver certified and accredited training based on your expertise. Adapt to various training environments, from modern facilities to unconventional settings. Embrace virtual, hybrid, and e-learning platforms to enhance training delivery. Continuously review and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our training services. Develop new or update existing training courses and materials. Consultancy: Conduct site visits for reviews, safety inspections, and incident investigations. Perform gap analyses to assess health and safety processes, RAMS, and supporting documentation. Prepare accurate and detailed reports in line with service guidelines. Apply academic and industry knowledge to provide practical, solutions-based advice. Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from advisor members, offering sound and timely advice. Qualifications/Experience : Ideally, Nebosh Diploma (or alternative Level 6) or you will be working towards it; however, exceptional candidates with the Nebosh Certificate will be considered. We are open to applicants from any industry background; however, we would be very open to applications from candidates with property/CDM/construction skills and Fire Safety experience/qualifications. Part of your role will have involved delivering training and/or presentations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
