Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, adhering to the college's curriculum and lesson plans.
Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes students' academic and personal development.
Effectively managing classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere. Providing constructive feedback to students and supporting their individual learning needs.
Collaborating with fellow educators and college staff to contribute to the college's overall success.
Marking and planning lessons will be essential for this role.
Requirements:
Qualification obtained in their specialist field. Degree level and above.
Experience teaching in secondary schools and colleges, with a thorough understanding of the curriculum. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students of all abilities.
Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
