Here at Flourish Education, we are recruiting for a Health and Social Care Teacher who is seeking flexibility and variety in your teaching career. This role is for an Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’ school, full-time, working 5 days a week. This role will start after the February half term and continue until the end of the academic year, where you will be teaching KS4. You will be expected to plan and mark. As a Health and Social Care Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) pupils with excellent subject knowledge. Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment. Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development. Adapting lesson plans to cater to diverse learning needs. Collaborating with school staff to maintain high standards in education. Required Skills and Experience as a Health and Social Care Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Health and Social Care. Expertise in the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4. Proven ability in classroom management with a focus on excellent behaviour management. A passion for inspiring student achievement and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
