Job overview Do you have the patience, compassion and motivation to work with those experiencing an acute mental health crisis? Do you value working within a strong team of nurses, doctors, and allied health care professionals? If the answer is YES, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Within our mental health services, we have wards caring for anyone requiring inpatient care, providing wonderful opportunities and facilities for patients as well as having Section 136 suites in two sites across the county to provide a place of safety which the police can bring people to. Patients admitted to the ward may be experiencing acute distress and present with a significant deterioration in mental state, risk of self-harm, self-neglect, or harm to others. We support patients that may be admitted informally or detained under a section of the mental health act. Patients may need intensive assessment and immediate intervention. We will all try to be open and honest and work together to promote positive change and recovery.
