Right now, we are looking for caring individuals to join our friendly team promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care. There are a variety of hours available across the week with bank and permanent positions available for night and long day shifts.
What are we looking for:
Experience of working in a residential care home setting, ideally hold a NVQ level 2 qualification or working towards it.
Dementia experience required.
Hardworking and motivated by delivering great service.
Effective team player with a positive attitude.
Desire and passion to help make a difference.
An understanding of what is important to others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible to carry out other duties by helping the team with gaps in service.
What will your typical day involve:
Supporting the Senior Care Assistant to complete monthly and weekly checks to monitor the health of our residents and reporting any significant changes.
Supporting at meal times: serving meals and transferring residents to the dining room. This might involve supporting them to walk, transferring them in a wheelchair or using a hoist.
Attending planned activities: assisting the team, repositioning, providing care, as necessary.
Repositioning residents to ensure they are comfortable and supported.
Administration duties: updating food, fluid and stool charts, supplementary files, daily notes and care plans.

Care home: 2 years (required).
