A career in healthcare does not require an extensive list of qualifications and experience; it just needs a caring, loyal, compassionate person who can say yes to the following questions: Driver with a UK license Willing to complete necessary training Positive “can do” attitude Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check Enjoy helping people About the role: As a Community Care Assistant, you will be travelling from one house to another offering help to the elderly and vulnerable who need it most. You could be assisting with many different tasks, which makes every visit and every day different and exciting. Community Carers make such a difference to the lives of the people you visit. Typical day-to-day duties: Helping with food preparation and feeding Preparing and assisting with medication Personal care and hygiene General household duties such as hoovering and washing up Assisting with any admin tasks Trips into the local community Promoting independence and wellbeing of service users at all times Due to the nature of our work, being able to drive is essential and to be confident on the road.
