Health Care Assistant (Immigration)

and make a difference in the lives of patients and their families seeking medical support for immigration purposes. Tāmaki Health is a strong network of over 40 clinics delivering care through our affiliated general practices, urgent care clinics, specialist centres, and occupational health clinics. Through our clinic brands, including Local Doctors and White Cross, we serve New Zealand’s communities with the highest standard of GP and Urgent Care. Purpose:

Provide timely and effective support to patients requiring medical examination/reports for immigration purposes.

This position is

part-time and fixed-term , designed to cover specific rostering gaps at White Cross Glenfield. Our operating hours are Monday to Sunday, from 8 am to 8 pm.

Responsibilities Include:

•Patient-focused care, ensuring confidentiality and comfort during their clinic visit. •Efficient clinic operations management, including scheduling, supplies maintenance, and accurate record-keeping. •Effective communication within the team and with diverse cultures, fostering interdisciplinary harmony. •Upholding health & safety standards for staff, patients, and visitors. •Internal: Clinic nursing staff, Charge nurse, Medical/Clinical Director, Receptionist, Administration Manager, and more. •External: Patients, families, health providers, and New Zealand Immigration authorities. You will need to have: •Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent experience, current CPR certificate (desirable). •Skills and Knowledge: Understanding immigration/visa requirements, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in MedTech (desirable). •Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, resilient, professional, self-confident, collaborative, and aligned with Tamaki Health values. •Legal Right to Work: Must possess the legal right to work in NZ.
