NHS Ayrshire & Arran - Home (nhsaaa.net) What you will do: An opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Acute Admissions inpatient team in NHS Ayrshire and Arran, more specifically working within ward 9 as a Band 3 Nursing Assistant working at Woodland View Hospital within Ayrshire Central Hospital site. You will support the delivery of high-quality nursing care, providing person-centred, recovery-focused interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team. A genuine interest in working with persons experiencing mental health problems is essential and experience of working within a care setting or role is highly desirable. You will work as a key component of a multidisciplinary team and as such should have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills along with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and/or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience, on-the-job training and/or short courses or appropriate competency to undertake the role. Can demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and other tasks and activities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Training is provided to enable the Senior HCSW to comply with the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland 2009; and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers, both as amended from time to time. Hours: 37 hours per week - flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential across the 24/7 period. If you want to find out more about the role,
