Key Responsibilities The post holder will be providing direct and indirect patient care independently but with support available from a supervisor within the clinical area. In doing so, they will support the assessment of patients and implementation of programmes of care delegated to them by the appropriate staff member ensuring that they practice within their sphere of competence and knowledge. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering, and using the toilet. Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary. Helping tidy the patient’s room. Taking the patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature. Talking to patients and reassuring them. Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals.
