Day rates start at £12.18ph / Night rates start at £16.20ph - Enhanced rates for weekend and bank holidays. Ideal candidates: Drivers or able to commute to Ludlow, Shropshire. Ideal Candidate:

Opus is looking for a health care assistant who can go into a residential nursing home with a smile on their face and light up the room for the residents who live there, someone who is passionate about assisting the elderly to go about their day. You will be assisting customers to carry out activities and hygiene routines as directed within their care plans to help maintain health and wellbeing or assisting customers to undertake practical tasks to help maintain their physical wellbeing. Nursing home information:

40 bedded home which is split into 4 units. Key Objectives: To provide a personal care and support service, delivered in accordance with the agreed care plan and the appropriate policies and procedures. Ensure clear, concise and accurate records are kept of all care and support provided. Ensure changes in needs are reflected in care plans where required, and reviewed regularly by assisting Manager, Team Leaders & Night Seniors with recording of information. Always being aware of health and safety and following the risk assessment to ensure tenants and carers' safety and report any concerns to manager, team leaders and night seniors. Other duties may include tasks such as simple cleaning tasks, making meals, and assisting residents to eat. To focus on the dignity & respect of service users and in partnership with other agencies to provide an excellent person-centred, individualised service. To liaise with seniors/managers regarding any concerns you may have regarding the residents. Work within a team environment providing excellent care and support. Previous experience in the social care industry - Specifically nursing homes.
