Job Summary We are a growing healthcare agency providing high-quality care services to individuals across Maidstone and surrounding areas in Kent. Our services include live-in care, domiciliary care, companionship, night-wake support, and community care for people aged 18 and above, including elderly individuals, those with dementia, disabilities, and sensory impairments. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team and help us make a difference in our clients’ lives. Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being. Assist with medication management and ensure clients adhere to prescribed treatment plans. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to appropriate staff. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed. Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Requirements Previous experience in care roles such as dementia care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous. Must have the ability to drive (access to a vehicle) and hold a valid driving licence. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A caring attitude with a passion for helping others. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs. Relevant qualifications in patient care or childcare would be beneficial.
