Health Care Assistant
– Up to 40 hours – £12 p/h - Redcar & surrounding areas
A dedicated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant is required to join a compassionate home care team in Redcar and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will provide high quality care and support to enable people to remain in their own home, living a fulfilled life, which respects their diversity, culture, and values.
Role Responsibilities:
Providing person-centred care and support to a person in all aspects of daily living, duties including: Personal care - getting washed, dressed, going to the toilet, support with medication, catheter care, help with meal preparation. Daily activities - companionship including outings and other social activities, shopping, light housework duties, collection of benefits, pension. Taking up all activities detailed on the support plan and reporting any concerns to management. Maintaining records using the care planner app. Qualifications:
Care certificate and previous experience in a similar role would be ideal. Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Skills Required:
Motivated, positive and with great interpersonal skills. Work in a confidential manner sometimes dealing with sensitive information, protect and respect personal information at all times. Committed to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning. Please note:
