About the Job:
Provide high-quality patient care, including physical interventions as required.
Drive Prometheus ambulances when necessary.
Assist qualified nurses in safely conveying and transferring all patients under the care of Prometheus.
Ensure adequate handover of patient details, including risk history and current presentation, from the Clinical Logistics Manager, RMN, or nurse responsible for the patient.
Complete all paperwork required for patient transfer in the absence of an RMN for informal patients.
Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during transfers.
Respond to emergencies during duty hours.
Be aware of relevant national and local policies regarding safeguarding children and adults.
Attend all relevant training, meetings, and reviews.
Maintain good working relationships between staff and patients throughout transfers.
Report accidents, complaints, and untoward incidents promptly to the Clinical Logistics Manager.
Attend the Prometheus base at the required time and adhere to the company’s uniform policy.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by the management team for the smooth running of the company.
