We are seeking caring, compassionate individuals for the role of Health Care Assistant at our specialist care home, Owen Mor Care Centre. We provide care in our bespoke, purpose-built home for adults with care needs living with dementia and mental ill health.
If you are committed to helping others and are a team player with excellent communication skills, we have a positive role with access to job development via NVQ level 1 & 2 in Health & Social Care courses while you work with all age groups. We also have excellent training and resources accessible online and with face-to-face training.
Our clients require assistance with a variety of daily living activities, including personal, social, and psychological care. You will be required to assist with personal hygiene, meal provision, and help to develop positive social interaction within the client group.
If you understand what is important to those you are caring for and help to enhance their daily experiences, the role of Health Care Assistant could be perfect for you. If you possess these qualities, then experience is not essential as we provide induction and development to support all staff members to equip you with the knowledge and skills to make a real difference to our clients' life experience in their home.
