NW Recruitment agency are currently recruiting healthcare assistant / support workers for private nursing homes.

We require experienced healthcare support workers for temporary on-going contracts within the Private Sector.

The positions are for various locations throughout Northern Ireland.

The positions are subject to Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) registration and reference checks.

*All candidates are required to undertake an Enhanced AccessNI police check.

Responsibility of a Healthcare Assistant /Support Worker is providing care and support to all patients to ensure patients are kept as comfortable as possible, assist with washing and dressing incapacitated patients, feeds patients at mealtimes and helps those who have difficulty walking to get around, also help the elderly and disabled with toileting.

Minimum of 6 months recent paid caring experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting

Applicants must be prepared to obtain an Enhanced Access NI (police check)

The positions are subject to Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 43 per week
