An exciting opportunity to work within Same Day Emergency Care service has arisen. The service will operate from 07:30-23:00. You will support the nursing staff and provide excellent patient care whilst maintaining the trust values. Opportunities will be available for further training and development. To assist the team in preparing the Unit environment for patient care delivery. To complete delegated tasks such as undertaking and recording vital signs, ECG, venepuncture, blood glucose levels, swabs, etc. To ensure own actions help to maintain quality and infection control standards. Establish and maintain communication with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team to provide information to others to help their development. Develop own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help their development. Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security of self and others in own work area. Assist in maintaining and developing services. Ability to work flexibly and unsociable hours to meet the demands of the service.
