Benefits of joining us as a Care/Support Worker We are looking for motivated, creative and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our Circle of Support at Bonhomie House in Bursledon, Hampshire. Bonhomie House is a registered nursing home that specialises in caring for those who have learning disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs or physical disabilities. Bonhomie House is set within a three-acre site with various forms of accommodation ranging from a principal building to satellite bungalows including: Single independent units with kitchenette and bathroom facilities. Group living units consisting of single bedrooms with shared kitchenette, lounge and bathroom facilities. These units have either two or five bedrooms. Your responsibilities As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Ensuring that service users’ physical, personal, psychological, spiritual and cultural needs are met, whilst promoting personal and physical independence and choice. Helping with the admission of new service users, including helping them to settle in, introducing them to other people and listing their property and clothing. Reading care files to be aware of individual needs and writing reports in case notes, as required. Assisting in providing activities and stimulation within the care home. Assisting and attending when outings are arranged. Requirements We ask for a positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work within a growing team.
