Job Overview:

One Choice Healthcare are looking for motivated Health Care Assistants/Support Workers to work in different settings such as care homes, nursing homes, hospitals or other healthcare establishments.

You will assist the service users and other personnel of these establishments with a variety of duties, and in doing so you will observe and respect the service user’s dignity, privacy and independence as far as is practical

Duties: - Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication. - Support patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding - Maintain accurate patient records - Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients - Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times - Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive and person centered care

Qualifications: - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential - Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care - Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
