The successful candidate will work as part of the Ward 3 Angleton Glanrhyd, providing nursing support to adults with rehabilitation needs, enhanced care needs, and supporting complex discharge planning. We are looking for compassionate, motivated, and reliable individuals who have a desire to care for adults in the community ward setting. Within this role, you will be part of the team caring for patients. You will receive support and development through in-service training, regular appraisals, and clinical supervision. Main Duties of the Job

Do you have a passion for community nursing and are looking to develop your knowledge and skills within this field? If so, we currently have a Band 2 vacancy within our Community Hospitals in CTMUHB, where free car parking is available. The team of qualified nurses and health care support workers provides nursing support to adults with rehabilitation needs and supports complex discharge planning, ensuring that patients are discharged to the most appropriate destination. The post holder will be part of an integrated team and will be supported in their role by registered nurses, the Ward Manager, and the Deputy Ward Manager. We encourage informal visits to allow applicants to familiarise themselves with our services and to answer any questions they may have. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. About Us

Qualifications

Work experience Possesses or working towards NVQ Level II Award GCSEs or similar qualifications Experience of working within a care setting Skills

Ability to demonstrate effective verbal communication skills with patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team alike Ability to demonstrate effective non-verbal communication skills, i.e., effective listening skills, positive body language Ability to demonstrate acceptable written skills for the production of patient reports Experience

Experience in team working Previous experience caring for people Experience of working in a hospital environment Disclosure and Barring Service Check
