The Role

The successful candidate will be part of the multi-disciplinary Health Visitor team to support initiatives in the community, taking a holistic approach to promoting general health and well-being under the guidance of Registered Nurses. You will provide clinical and clerical support in order to ensure the smooth running of the service. The post holder will support the Health Visiting Team to ensure effective utilisation of resources. NHS Lanarkshire

SVQ III in Healthcare or working towards or equivalent working in the role. Ability to work with people and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work unsupervised. Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills. Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment. Proficient IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence. This role will be based in Health Visiting within Motherwell Health Centre. The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
