We're looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistant with a passion to be a key part of the patient care journey here at Leigh Infirmary within the early pregnancy unit. Your role will be to support registered nurses in order for the patient's needs to be holistically met. You will support the Clinicians, nurses and nurse Specialist in early pregnancy, menopause and recurrent miscarriage clinics, working flexible over 7 days a week. You will be
required
to have a keen interest in women's health. All work undertaken by the post holder will be under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Working within the multidisciplinary team supporting the delivery of assessed and evaluated programmes of care. To adhere to all Trust policies and procedures. To communicate effectively. On occasions, the job holder may be exposed to distressing or emotional circumstances. Maintain discretion and understanding of confidentiality and data protection. Perform and record clinical observations with competency including blood pressure, temperature, respiration's and pulse. Ensure the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals is maintained at all times. Recognise issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults and report any problems or raise concerns to the appropriate Registered Care professionals. Demonstrate the ability to recognise changing priorities, seeking advice and guidance from the Registered Nurse or other registered care professionals as appropriate. Person specification

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care qualification Interest in women's health/early pregnancy Skills
