Savernake Ward- Savernake Community Hospital, Marlborough Full and Part-Time Opportunities Available Permanent Assessment Centre day - 20th January 2025 **Unfortunately we are unable to offer overseas sponsorship at this time ** The Health Care Support Worker is an essential member of the multi-disciplinaryteam providing high standard of care for patients as well as support andcomfort to family members, friends and carers. You will be expected to provide a high level of Essential Care to meetthe needs of patients in the Ward. This will include helping to maintainpersonal hygiene, continence, mobility, nutrition and hydration. As well as supporting recovery you will promote rehabilitation,encouraging patients to regain and maintain as much independence as possible In addition to Essential Care and Support there will be the opportunityto develop additional skills, including the monitoring and recording of PatientObservations, ECGs and Phlebotomy We will support successful candidates to complete the Care Certificatewhilst working with us, to embed their practice and learning and supportongoing development. The teams on the wards include Nurses, Physiotherapists, OccupationalTherapists, Health Care Assistants, Rehabilitation Support Workers, AdvancedClinical Practitioners and Doctors. Main duties of the job

Working unsocial hours pays an additional 85% onBank Holidays and Sundays and an additional 43% at other times. Experience

Experience of working in a care / health role. Qualifications

GCSE Maths & English grade D or above or Level 1 functional skills in Literacy and Numeracy QCF or NVQ Level 2 in a health related subject Care Certificate Disclosure and Barring Service Check
