As a Health Care Support Worker, you'll be a vital member of our dedicated team, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with their daily needs and activities, promoting comfort and dignity. Collaborating with nurses and medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery. Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming ward environment. Providing compassionate support to patients and their families during challenging times. About us

Knowledge

Must understand basic requirements for individualised personal care Recognise people's right to privacy and dignity, treating every person with respect Awareness of Safeguarding issues Qualifications

NVQ 2 in care Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care Further Training

Able to attend a 5-day Clinical Induction Committed to attending further training and development as identified Experience

Able to demonstrate clear and robust verbal and written English communication skills Experience of working as part of a team Previous care work experience Previous experience in a hospital setting Contractual Requirements

Flexible approach Able to work flexibly on a varied shift pattern according to the roster including nights and weekends Disclosure and Barring Service Check
