Health Economics Specialist

to be based in England! We are seeking a motivated

Health Economist

with a strong commercial mindset to enhance and support our Ambu UK & Ireland function. Your main role will involve creating innovative health economics tools and evidence for our key products, and to both train and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This role offers a remote working arrangement with a requirement to visit the office once a week and travel up to 40% of the time. You will join a small team specializing in health economics, clinical affairs, and marketing, and will collaborate closely with teams at Ambu UK & Ireland and across our global organization. Key responsibilities Identify evidence gaps and needs of key stakeholders and decision makers in relation to Ambu’s products Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical development, regulatory affairs, market access, & commercial teams to integrate RWE & HEOR insights into business strategies Develop study designs to gather essential data that supports MA/PA activities Generate health economic evidence for our key products, including cost-comparison analyses, and collaborate with Clinical Marketing Specialists and internal/external key stakeholders to conduct HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) studies. Develop health economic sales support tools for hospital stakeholders such as budget impact models Collaborate with Sales teams and work closely with Product Managers to provide targeted, segmented data and evidence-based messaging that supports the desired product positioning. Design and develop educational programs and training for both the broader organization and external stakeholders Present health economic findings and recommendations to internal and external partners as well as at scientific conferences to maintain and strengthen business relationships with all stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Suggested candidate profile Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you: Minimum 3 years of experience in the medical devices sector, or alternatively in pharmaceuticals or consultancy Communication & presentation skills. Be able to engage with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of the NHS and experience working at a UK regional level, EMEA or Global level. Experience with Market Access, Public affairs and Medical affairs is a plus Ability to handle pressure, complex situations, and problem-solving capacity have strong attention to details as well as an analytic mindset have a strategic mindset and strong business acumen Ambu – a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matter Ambu is a company that expands rapidly and has ambitious growth targets.
